Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Breim is an actress from Iceland. Briem started her career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. In her early years as a child actor, she participated in various plays in radio and television shows from her homeland of Iceland. Briem left Iceland for London aged 16 where he took part in a theater production called Lenin's Love. Briem got a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19. For the next 3 years, she was a student at the academy, earning diplomas in drama and the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight. The actor performed in a number of shows at RADA which included The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba's House, written composed by Federico Garcia Lorca. Briem continued her career acting in London performing in plays such as Catalog of Misunderstanding (directed by Mike Figgis) at the National Theater Studio.
